I am officially closing this chapter of my business. While this recent iteration was brief, opening in July and wrapping up now in September/October, it accomplished exactly what it needed to do. I am stepping away from the business to pursue new opportunities and focus on my immediate needs.

This venture was my bridge back to the world. After the death of my son, I isolated for two and a half years because participating in society felt unbearable. Returning to this work forced me out of my shell. Through this process, I found my funny again. I found my voice, and I learned in a very tangible way that this community has my back.

It might seem strange to walk away just as I finally perfected my candles to my own incredibly high standards. But honestly, I think that is exactly why I am ready to stop. In my quest to be the best, I reached the destination. Now my body is tired. I am older, and I require more gentleness for a body that has survived such horrible blows. It is simply time for me to prioritize comfort over the hustle.

I learned so much about my own wants and needs during this time. I met people who taught me how to love myself in every single season. A special thank you to Shop 112 for making me feel like an absolute princess and to CC's Sweets for hyping me up. Learning what you all love, being able to donate to causes I care deeply about, and having the honor of making memorial candles for grieving families are the things I will carry with me.

Because of your incredible support, my candle inventory is completely sold out online. I have allocated a portion of my remaining stock to fulfill some private community donations and local events. If you want to grab any of the final candles, the very last of my public stock is currently sitting on the shelves at Shop 112. Go pay them a visit and grab your favorites before they are gone. I do still have soap available online, and that will remain up until it sells out completely.
